Today, we were
introduced to character study. We talked about what it takes to create a
character. Tarrant asked us what we thought being a person takes, and how the
littlest things can affect a person’s character. We created a character and
through that process we discussed what would make a person who he/she is. We
started with the basics of what characteristics a person would have. From
there, we expanded and dived deep into the characteristics of the person we
created.
It was an interesting class as
we created a history and backstory for the character, and I feel that I’ve
realised the importance of doing my research on a character before actually
jumping into acting it out.
